A woman residing in China's Jiangsu province experienced severe injuries after receiving a hug from her spouse. The man, identified by his surname Wang, reported that he applied standard pressure while embracing his wife after she expressed feeling chilly. Upon hearing a distinct snapping noise, the woman collapsed in significant distress. Although she attempted to manage the discomfort overnight, she sought professional medical assistance the next day. A computed tomography scan performed at the hospital confirmed that she had sustained five complete rib fractures and one additional hairline crack. Medical professionals concluded that surgical intervention was not required for her recovery. Instead, the patient was provided with a treatment plan involving oral medication and topical patches. Reports suggest that the woman's bone health may have been compromised by infrequent exposure to sunlight and a restrictive dietary regimen.
