The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai has officially declared modifications to speed regulations across five primary thoroughfares, effective November 1, 2026. These adjustments involve both increases and decreases in speed thresholds for traffic moving in both directions. Specifically, speed limits will be raised on Al Asayel Street, Al Mustaqbal Street, and Latifa bint Hamdan Street to improve traffic flow. Conversely, the authority is lowering the maximum permitted speeds on Al Rebat Street and Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah Street to enhance road safety. Motorists are advised to observe the updated signage that will reflect these changes once they come into effect. These revisions are part of the city's ongoing efforts to manage transportation infrastructure and ensure optimal driving conditions across the emirate.
