The Nepali Army has confirmed that rescue efforts within the tunnels of flood-impacted hydropower facilities will persist until significant progress is made. Brigadier General Subash Jung Thapa stated that these operations remain a priority and will continue unless official government directives mandate a cessation. Authorities estimate that approximately 121 individuals could be trapped within the submerged infrastructure. Specialized teams have already accessed the powerhouse and control areas of the Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Project to conduct thorough inspections. Additionally, personnel equipped with advanced rescue apparatus have been deployed to the Trishuli-3A site to assist in the ongoing recovery mission. The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority is coordinating these efforts to locate missing persons following the recent flooding events.
