Families of 45 students from three schools in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, and Chonburi have reported a study trip organizer to the Suvarnabhumi Airport Police. The group, which had planned a trip to China from October 15 to 26, arrived at the airport only to discover that no flight reservations had been made. Each participant had paid 39,900 baht for the program, which allegedly included an agreement with Xi’an Jiaotong University, totaling approximately 1.8 million baht in payments. These funds were transferred to a teacher involved in the coordination of the excursion. Following the failure to provide the promised travel arrangements, parents are seeking an official investigation into the organizer, who holds a doctorate degree, to address the significant financial losses incurred by the families involved.
