The University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) has earned a spot in the first Innovation Sandbox cohort organized by the Future Universities Alliance. This international network, supported by Duke University, includes 49 academic institutions representing 23 nations. UDST stands as the sole representative from both Qatar and the Gulf region in this group. Selection for the program was based on a rigorous evaluation of institutional leadership, strategic goals, and overall readiness for transformation. Over the next year, the university will engage in a peer-learning initiative designed to foster significant institutional development. Participants will collaborate through structured sessions, milestone reviews, and a yearly global summit to address complex challenges within higher education. This initiative aims to facilitate meaningful change by connecting diverse academic leaders from across five continents.
