The Abu Dhabi-based technology company G42 has entered into preliminary agreements to investigate the development of artificial intelligence infrastructure within Greece. This collaboration is part of a broader series of 18 commercial partnerships and memorandums of understanding between the United Arab Emirates and Greece, totaling approximately €12.75 billion. These deals were finalized during an official visit to Athens by Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, at the UAE-Greece Strategic Forum. Beyond general AI infrastructure, G42 and several of its subsidiary firms have committed to exploring projects involving smart cities, life sciences, and digital government services. According to the company, these initiatives represent a strategic effort to extend its intelligence network into the European market by integrating high-level computing capabilities with specialized AI platforms for both public and private sector applications.
