Wizz Air, the budget airline, has announced its intention to resume weekly flight operations to the United Arab Emirates, specifically targeting Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This move comes after the carrier previously ceased activities with its Abu Dhabi subsidiary last year. The airline's new schedule, set to commence on October 25, will encompass 12 routes and a total of 49 weekly flights, also including services to Jeddah and Amman. Wizz Air had previously attributed its withdrawal from the joint venture to a combination of geopolitical circumstances, regulatory obstacles, and significant market rivalry. According to the airline's website, daily flights will be available, with initial fares from Dubai and Abu Dhabi starting at Dh289 per passenger, though prices are anticipated to rise as winter approaches.
