Since the beginning of 2026, Dubai Municipality has conducted over 16,000 site visits to residential neighborhoods to ensure building safety and regulatory compliance. These inspections focus on unauthorized construction, illegal occupancy, and improper building usage to maintain the structural integrity and quality of local environments. Field teams have documented 2,395 violations throughout the city, with the Al Warqa district receiving significant scrutiny through more than 800 individual checks. Authorities aim to detect non-compliant practices early and enforce corrective actions to protect residents. The municipality continues to monitor properties to ensure that owners and occupants adhere to established urban planning and safety standards.
