A coalition of eight nations, including Turkey, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, has issued a formal condemnation regarding recent statements by Israeli officials. Two government ministers in Israel suggested plans to relocate Palestinian residents from the Gaza Strip, with National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir proposing the removal of 250,000 individuals initially, followed by the displacement of the remaining two million people over several years. Defense Minister Israel Katz also indicated that such removal strategies were being prepared, pending international cooperation. The participating foreign ministers expressed strong opposition to these initiatives, warning that such actions jeopardize established peace frameworks for the region. The joint statement emphasizes the collective rejection of any mechanisms aimed at the forced expulsion of the population from the territory.
