Recent Israeli aerial operations in southern Lebanon have resulted in civilian casualties and the destruction of Al-Ghandour Hospital in the Nabatieh district. Reports indicate that four people were killed and twenty injured during strikes on several villages. On the ground, Hezbollah claims to have thwarted an Israeli attempt to demolish tunnel infrastructure near Ali al-Tahir Hill using drone strikes. Meanwhile, internal tensions are rising in Israel between political leadership and military commanders over the offensive's progress. Despite a previous framework agreement for withdrawal, Israeli forces continue a scorched-earth policy, demolishing homes in border towns. Hezbollah has condemned the United States for its military backing of Israel and criticized the Lebanese government's handling of negotiations. Since early March, the conflict has claimed over 4,360 lives in Lebanon.
