The Jeddah Airports Company has announced the commencement of gradual operations at Terminal 4 of King Abdulaziz International Airport starting this Sunday. This initial phase involves shifting flight services for Wizz Air, AJet, and SalamAir to the new facility. According to the airport authority, a structured transition plan will eventually relocate various foreign carriers from the North Terminal, as well as specific airlines currently utilizing Terminal 1 and the Hajj and Umrah terminals. This strategic redistribution of air traffic is designed to enhance overall airport capacity, streamline passenger movement, and improve travel processing efficiency. The transition process, which also includes the relocation of Fly Jinnah services, is scheduled to proceed in stages throughout the coming week to ensure operational readiness and service stability.
