During the 15th UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice held in Abu Dhabi, UAE Minister of Justice Abdullah Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi highlighted the necessity of international collaboration in law enforcement. He argued that modern criminal threats, including cybercrime, organized syndicates, human trafficking, and illicit financial activities, frequently transcend national borders. Consequently, the minister asserted that individual nations are incapable of addressing these complex challenges in isolation. Al Nuaimi characterized judicial cooperation as a vital partnership between states rather than a mere procedural requirement. By fostering stronger global ties, the UAE aims to prevent criminals from exploiting jurisdictional gaps to evade legal accountability. The minister's remarks underscored the country's commitment to enhancing cross-border legal frameworks to effectively tackle the evolving nature of global crime.
