The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission has interviewed Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu and his ministry's secretary-general as part of an inquiry into fertiliser distribution issues in Kedah. MACC Chief Commissioner Datuk Seri Abd Halim Aman confirmed that the minister provided his statement on September 16, following the secretary-general's session the previous day. This investigation, which commenced on August 26, focuses on the procurement process and the selection of a specific company by the ministry. Authorities have already questioned 37 witnesses to gather evidence. Officials expect the probe to conclude within the next two weeks as investigators continue to collect testimonies from additional relevant individuals.
