The Nepali Army has successfully deployed a Bailey bridge over the Phalaku River in Betrawati, re-establishing a critical transport link between the districts of Nuwakot and Rasuwa. This infrastructure project was initiated following the destruction caused by severe flooding on August 26, which had effectively severed road access to Dhunche. The newly installed bridge is engineered to support a maximum load of 40 tons, allowing for the resumption of essential vehicular traffic and restoring connectivity for the local population and supply chains in the affected region.
