President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has officially designated special non-working days for five municipalities across the Philippines to allow local residents to observe their respective community celebrations. Through a series of proclamations, the government has set aside specific dates for these events. Luna, Isabela, will observe its 77th founding anniversary on September 28, while Argao, Cebu, marks its local day on September 29. Furthermore, Aborlan, Palawan, will hold its town fiesta on October 1, followed by Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, celebrating Solano Day on October 2. Finally, Santa Cruz, Davao del Sur, is scheduled to commemorate its 142nd founding anniversary on October 5. These proclamations aim to facilitate full public participation in the scheduled local festivities within each respective jurisdiction.
