According to an Israeli television report citing unpublished entries from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's official diary, the premier did not depart his Caesarea residence for military headquarters until at least two hours after the October 7 Hamas-led attack commenced. The leaked schedule indicates that Netanyahu remained at his private home until 8:30 a.m. Furthermore, the report alleges that he did not hold consultations with top security officials for an additional hour and a half following his departure.
