The General Directorate of Civil Defense in Saudi Arabia has issued a public advisory urging residents to remain vigilant as thunderstorms are expected to persist across various regions until Wednesday. Authorities have explicitly warned against entering valleys or areas susceptible to flooding and advised the public to avoid swimming in these locations. Citizens are encouraged to monitor official updates through media channels. According to the National Center for Meteorology, regions including Makkah, Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha face risks of heavy rainfall, hail, and dust storms, which could trigger flash floods. Meanwhile, areas such as Madinah, Hail, and Al-Jouf are anticipated to receive light to moderate precipitation. A specific alert was also released for the Makkah region regarding strong winds and reduced visibility caused by adverse weather conditions.
