Approximately 200 dogs participated in a parade at Yeouido Hangang Park in Seoul this past Sunday, aiming to raise awareness for animal adoption. The animals, adorned in various outfits, were greeted by enthusiastic spectators. Despite the festive atmosphere, the event served a serious purpose: showcasing abandoned dogs that are currently awaiting permanent placement. The group included senior animals, larger breeds, and dogs with physical disabilities, all of which typically encounter more difficulty in the adoption process compared to others. This public display was organized as part of a broader initiative to encourage potential owners to consider adopting these vulnerable pets and provide them with stable living environments.
