Jeon Gyeong-cheol, a 64-year-old writer recognized for his efforts to secure a future for his autistic son, has died from advanced liver cancer. Known publicly as the "Peter Pan Dad," Jeon spent his final months documenting his search for a stable living environment for his disabled child to ensure his well-being after his passing. The news of his death was shared on social media by Jeong Yu-jin, who leads the Developmental Disabilities Support Expert Forum. In alignment with the author's personal requests, the family has decided to forgo a traditional funeral wake. His remains are currently at a hospital, and no public memorial service has been established.
