Multiple provinces, including Batangas, Cavite, Romblon, and Bulacan, reported rising water levels that forced numerous families to seek shelter in evacuation centers. In Quezon City and Manila, major thoroughfares experienced inundation, complicating travel for motorists and commuters. Local authorities and the Coast Guard have been actively conducting rescue operations and providing transportation assistance to those affected. Residents in several areas noted that the current flood levels are unprecedented, with some attributing the severity to obstructed waterways and unauthorized construction. Additionally, in Baguio City, a fallen pine tree caused by the inclement weather disrupted road access, though no injuries were reported. Government agencies continue to monitor weather conditions as rainfall persists in several parts of the country.
