A building has collapsed in the Satya Niketan neighborhood of Delhi, a densely populated area primarily known for hosting numerous student accommodations and hostels for those attending colleges near the South Campus of Delhi University. According to official Rekha Gupta, preliminary reports suggest that ongoing repair work and water accumulation in the basement were contributing factors to the structural failure. Emergency response teams have been deployed to the site to conduct rescue operations for individuals potentially trapped beneath the rubble. Authorities are currently managing the situation as the investigation into the exact cause of the collapse continues.
