Authorities in Almaty have announced a temporary closure of a segment of Tole Bi Street to facilitate the ongoing light rail transit project. The road section between Baitursynov Street and Dosmukhamedov Street will be inaccessible from 11:00 p.m. on September 7 until 2:00 p.m. on September 8. This measure is part of a broader series of traffic disruptions currently affecting the city. Other ongoing restrictions include closures on Baizakov Street, Altynsarin Street, and Arykova Street due to various construction and infrastructure development projects. Additionally, residents in the Kairat microdistrict should expect traffic limitations between September 30 and October 15 as drainage systems are installed for a new residential development. Commuters are advised to plan their routes accordingly to avoid delays caused by these widespread municipal works.
