The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has released updated regulations regarding special quota admissions for Class XI students for the 2026–27 academic cycle. Eligible applicants include children of expatriates, individuals with special needs, graduates from the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Pratisthan (BKSP), and students recognized for significant achievements in sports or cultural fields at divisional or national levels. Unlike the standard process, these specific applications must be filed manually. Furthermore, the broader admission procedure for Class XI has commenced, requiring students to select between five and ten colleges. The committee clarified that only those who completed their SSC examinations under the special needs category are permitted to utilize the manual application process for that specific quota.
