British racing driver Ollie Millroy has publicly expressed his gratitude to fellow competitor Loek Hartog following a life-saving intervention during the China GT Championship. The incident occurred at the Shanghai International Circuit when Millroy's Ferrari caught fire after a collision. Hartog, a Dutch driver, immediately halted his own vehicle and exited to assist before emergency personnel arrived at the scene. Using a fire extinguisher to suppress the flames, Hartog successfully forced open the cockpit door and pulled Millroy from the burning wreckage. Millroy credited his survival entirely to Hartog's swift and courageous actions, noting that the rescue took place before any track marshals or official fire crews could reach the site of the accident.
