Colonel Romeo Villalobos Jr. has officially assumed the role of director for the Agusan del Sur Provincial Police Office, succeeding Colonel Yahya Yusup. The formal transition ceremony took place on Monday at the provincial headquarters in San Francisco, overseen by Police Regional Office-13 director Brigadier General Rolindo Suguilon. During the event, Suguilon acknowledged the contributions of the outgoing director, who had served in the position since March 2024, and encouraged the local police force to offer their full cooperation to the new leadership. The installation was attended by various provincial and municipal officials, including Governor Santiago Cane Jr. and Vice Governor Patricia Anne Plaza, alongside members of the military and law enforcement community. The regional director emphasized the importance of maintaining professional integrity and dedication in public service as the new administration begins its tenure.
