Health authorities in Nepal's Koshi Province report a significant surge in dengue infections, with the virus now present across all 13 districts of the region. Data from the provincial health directorate indicates that as of September 19, 793 individuals have been diagnosed with the disease. Jhapa district currently faces the highest burden with 228 confirmed cases, followed by Sunsari with 203. Other districts, including Okhaldhunga and Khotang, have also reported notable infection numbers. Public health officials are monitoring the situation closely as the virus continues to spread throughout the province, impacting both urban and rural areas.
