The Philippine National Police (PNP) has successfully restricted access to two online platforms suspected of facilitating the grooming of minors. According to PNP spokesperson PCol. Allen Rae Co, these websites were actively encouraging children to engage in acts of physical violence. The operation was carried out by the PNP’s Anti-Cybercrime Group, which collaborated with the National Telecommunications Commission to ensure the sites were blocked. Authorities identified these digital spaces as dangerous environments where malicious actors were attempting to manipulate young users into committing real-world harm. This intervention is part of ongoing efforts by law enforcement to protect children from online exploitation and prevent potential criminal activities instigated through digital channels.
