A 54-year-old man died following a severe electric scooter accident on the Eastern Bypass Road in Almaty. Surveillance footage and vehicle dashcams recorded the incident, which occurred during the night. Reports indicate the rider was traveling at speeds reaching 90 kilometers per hour along the left side of the road. While attempting to pass another vehicle, the operator lost control of the scooter and fell onto the pavement. Emergency responders and law enforcement arrived shortly after the crash, but the individual succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this fatal collision.
