Jasem AlBudaiwi, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, has emphasized that the six member nations should be perceived as a single, integrated economic entity rather than individual markets. During his recent remarks, he highlighted that the region serves as a strategic gateway to both neighboring areas and international trade networks. AlBudaiwi stated that the GCC remains committed to global engagement and is actively seeking to establish enduring investment collaborations that provide shared benefits. By functioning as a cohesive investment system, the council aims to ensure that businesses entering any single member state gain access to a broader, interconnected regional framework. This approach is intended to move away from the perception of isolated national markets, encouraging investors to view the Gulf as a unified and accessible destination for long-term economic growth.
