Indo-Tibetan Border Police Director General Shatrujeet Singh Kapur stated on Thursday that Indian and Chinese military forces are currently engaged in multiple confrontations along the border in Arunachal Pradesh. Speaking at a public event in Rajasthan, Kapur confirmed that these face-offs have persisted over the last few days across various locations, including Taksing. These incidents reportedly occurred even during the period when Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Delhi for the BRICS summit. The Indo-Tibetan Border Police, which is responsible for securing the 3,488-kilometer Line of Actual Control, is reportedly enhancing its operational readiness in response to the ongoing tensions. The situation remains active as both sides maintain their presence in the disputed border regions.
