Representatives from Uzbekistan’s Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies (ISRS) recently engaged in high-level discussions in Qatar to bolster expert-level collaboration. During these meetings, the ISRS explored ways to increase Uzbekistan's involvement in the Doha Forum, a prominent international platform for global policy dialogue. Key agreements included a planned Memorandum of Cooperation with the Global Institute for Strategic Research (GISR) and potential partnerships with the Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies. These interactions focused on fostering joint analytical research, promoting Uzbekistan’s regional connectivity initiatives—such as the Termez Dialogue—and addressing shared international challenges. By strengthening ties with these Qatari think tanks, the ISRS aims to provide practical policy recommendations and deepen the strategic partnership between the two nations through sustained academic and expert engagement.
