An Indonesian entrepreneur identified as Steven is currently under investigation in Singapore following allegations that he utilized 34 fake S$10,000 banknotes at Resorts World Sentosa. According to reports, the individual visited the casino three times, successfully depositing a significant portion of the counterfeit currency and exchanging them for gambling chips before staff identified the fraud. The suspect was apprehended after attempting to use six additional forged notes. Legal counsel representing the businessman in Jakarta maintains that his client was unaware the currency was illegitimate, asserting that the notes were received as payment for a property transaction. The case has gained attention across regional media and within the gaming industry as authorities continue their inquiries into the origin of the forged high-denomination bills.
