Malaysia Airlines has begun a phased restoration of its flight operations between Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta after Soekarno-Hatta International Airport resumed activities. The airport had previously faced closures due to volcanic ash originating from Mount Anak Krakatau. While the national carrier confirmed that several scheduled routes, including MH717, MH716, MH721, and MH723, are currently operating, five other flights remain grounded. Specifically, services MH713 and MH711 from Kuala Lumpur, along with MH712, MH710, and MH726 from Jakarta, are cancelled. The airline stated that it is actively observing the situation and will provide direct notifications to passengers regarding any further changes to flight schedules as conditions evolve.
