She cautioned that such narratives could disrupt global shipping lanes and urged the international community to avoid appeasement. Simultaneously, Tuvaluan Prime Minister Feleti Teo advocated for Taiwan's meaningful involvement in UN agencies, describing the island as a reliable partner for global challenges. Teo also highlighted concerns over escalating military activities near the Taiwan Strait, which he stated threaten regional stability and international commerce.
