Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has left Islamabad for Istanbul to participate in high-level diplomatic discussions. At the invitation of his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, Dar will join representatives from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Türkiye for the R4 ministerial session. Following this, he is scheduled to attend the inaugural R4+E3 meeting, which expands the group to include officials from the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. These diplomatic engagements occur amidst rising geopolitical instability across the Middle East, specifically concerning developments in Iran, Yemen, and the Gulf region. The Foreign Office confirmed the minister's departure, noting that these multilateral talks aim to address the current security climate and foster cooperation among the participating nations.
