The Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre (QICDRC) experienced its most active year in 2025, processing 146 cases. This figure marks a significant 49% growth compared to the previous year. While the volume of disputes rose, the aggregate financial value of these cases saw a slight decline of 1.36%, settling at QR1.45bn. Additionally, the court delivered 95 formal judgments, reflecting a modest increase of 2.15% over 2024. Officials attributed the surge in legal filings to heightened investment and business operations within the jurisdiction. The institution successfully maintained its operational standards by utilizing digital case-management technology to improve efficiency. These developments underscore the court's evolving status as a primary hub for resolving international commercial conflicts within the region.
