While the proposal is under consideration, officials emphasized that the specific agenda and expected outcomes must be clearly defined before formal planning begins. Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov noted that such a meeting could potentially occur during the upcoming Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Shenzhen, provided that the host nation manages the necessary diplomatic arrangements. In addition to the prospect of a three-way discussion, the Kremlin is actively coordinating bilateral meetings for President Vladimir Putin, specifically with Chinese leader Xi Jinping and potentially with U.S. President Donald Trump, should the circumstances allow for such an encounter during the event.
