The Chief Minister implicated senior DMK figures, including M.K. Stalin and Udhayanidhi Stalin, in the alleged collection of illicit party funds. These accusations triggered a chaotic scene in the House, with DMK legislators protesting near the Speaker’s podium before ultimately walking out. Vijay dismissed the opposition's demand for evidence, arguing that only those involved in wrongdoing would feel compelled to defend themselves against such claims. He further vowed to continue scrutinizing past government records to dismantle the DMK's reputation, framing his actions as a commitment to public service rather than a pursuit of political power.
