While the government emphasized that statistical correlations do not inherently prove wrongdoing, officials stated that the findings are being treated with seriousness. The review aims to determine whether any actual misconduct occurred during the specified period. The agency maintains that these patterns warrant a thorough examination to ensure integrity within the public service, despite the lack of definitive evidence of corruption provided by the initial study.
