During the second US-Uzbekistan Business and Investment Council meeting in Samarkand, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized the strengthening of bilateral relations. He highlighted the importance of expanding economic cooperation, specifically in sectors such as critical minerals, energy, digital technology, and artificial intelligence. To attract American capital, Uzbekistan plans to implement a 'Plant and Play' model, providing investors with pre-prepared projects, infrastructure, and streamlined administrative processes. The two nations have already reached agreements on 54 initiatives valued at approximately $12 billion. President Mirziyoyev proposed a long-term strategic program extending to 2035 to foster industrial partnerships and integrate businesses into global value chains. The initiative aims to provide a predictable environment for foreign investors while modernizing Uzbekistan's energy and industrial sectors through technological collaboration.
