Warner Bros World Yas Island has officially commenced construction on a significant expansion project featuring iconic locations from the Harry Potter franchise. The new development will incorporate Diagon Alley, the Forbidden Forest, and Hogwarts Castle, increasing the indoor theme park's total area by nearly 50 percent. Spanning over 63,000 square metres, this project represents the first attraction of its kind in the Middle East and is scheduled to open in 2029. This initiative aligns with Abu Dhabi's broader strategic vision for 2040, which aims to strengthen the emirate's position as a premier global hub for tourism and leisure activities. The expansion is considered one of the most extensive Harry Potter-themed developments globally, marking a major milestone in the ongoing growth of Yas Island as an entertainment destination.
