Alhind Global Services has implemented a new Sunday collection window for Indian passports across its 16 Indian Consular Application Centres in the United Arab Emirates. Operating between 10 am and 12 pm, this initiative aims to assist expatriates who face difficulties retrieving their documents during standard weekday business hours. This adjustment responds to feedback from the workforce regarding the challenges of scheduling personal visits or courier services. Alhind, a company based in Kerala, assumed responsibility for managing passport renewals and various consular document services in July. Although the firm secured the operational tender in November 2025, the commencement of these services was previously delayed due to legal proceedings. The introduction of weekend hours is intended to enhance accessibility for the Indian community residing in the UAE.
