Meteorologists have forecasted contrasting weather patterns for Kazakhstan's two largest cities between September 10 and 12. In Astana, the capital is set to experience a significant shift in conditions, moving from warm temperatures to a period marked by rain, thunderstorms, and cooling winds. Specifically, the city will see daytime highs drop as storm systems move through the region. Conversely, Almaty is expected to remain hot, with temperatures projected to reach as high as 35 degrees Celsius. Residents in Astana should prepare for gusty winds reaching up to 20 meters per second during the stormy intervals, while the southern city maintains its elevated heat levels throughout the three-day period.
