The Qatari Ministry of Municipality has officially implemented new regulations to standardize and decrease the minimum land area required for subdividing private residential villa plots. Under the updated guidelines, a single villa now requires a minimum of 400 square meters with a 15-meter frontage, while attached villas require at least 600 square meters with a 20-meter frontage. This policy change is designed to improve land-use efficiency, optimize existing infrastructure, and promote sustainable urban growth across the nation. By allowing for more flexible development options, such as constructing multiple villas on a single plot, the ministry aims to better align with current real estate market demands and planning standards.
