Igho Ubiribo, a 43-year-old British-Nigerian influencer, died in Bangkok after receiving a genital filler injection. Following the procedure, Ubiribo experienced severe chest pain and multiple collapses, eventually succumbing to a pulmonary embolism despite extensive resuscitation efforts. A British inquest later confirmed that hyaluronic acid from the injections had traveled to his lungs, causing the fatal blockage. At the time of his death, Ubiribo and his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, were under investigation by Nigerian authorities regarding an international drug-trafficking syndicate linked to a significant cannabis seizure. Although he faced accusations of involvement in a network that allegedly recruited women for illicit activities, he had not been convicted prior to his passing. Ubiribo, known for his affluent lifestyle and social media presence, was a prominent figure with connections to high-profile individuals in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
