The Bureau of Customs (BOC) announced that Fast Car Traders Corp. has placed bids totaling over 7 million pesos for four luxury Maserati vehicles. The offer includes two 2021 Maserati Levante Modena units and two 2021 Maserati Levante GT Hybrid models. While these bids have been accepted by the bureau, the finalization of the sale remains pending. The transaction must still receive formal authorization from the Department of Finance to ensure legal compliance and transparency. BOC Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno emphasized that the agency is committed to following proper procedures to protect public interest and maximize government revenue. This initiative aligns with broader efforts by the BOC and the Bureau of Internal Revenue to enhance national collection targets, which are aimed at reaching 5.5 trillion pesos by the end of the current administration's term.
