Officials managing the Emirates Dubai Sevens remain confident that the upcoming sporting event will attract a significant number of international participants, notwithstanding the ongoing conflict involving Iran. Scheduled to occur at The Sevens Stadium from November 27 to 29, the tournament serves as the opening stage for the HSBC SVNS World Series. Since the inception of the global rugby circuit in 1999, Dubai has consistently hosted the competition, with the exception of 2001 following the September 11 attacks. Despite security-related withdrawals during that period, the event proceeded with many teams still attending. Organizers are currently preparing for this year's festival, which has evolved into a major fixture on the international rugby calendar since its establishment.
