Additionally, State Minister for Interior Talal Chaudhry faces further disciplinary action after failing to comply with previous warnings and receiving a fine for repeated code violations. These incidents occur ahead of the November 23 by-elections for 13 national and provincial assembly seats in Punjab. The Election Commission has mandated that all campaign activities must cease by midnight on November 21. Authorities have warned that continued non-compliance could result in legal penalties, including potential imprisonment or fines of up to 100,000 rupees, as they strive to ensure a fair electoral process.
