During the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York, Pakistan's Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb emphasized the urgent necessity of converting global climate pledges into practical outcomes for vulnerable populations. Speaking at the Climate Implementation Bridge event, Aurangzeb identified three essential pillars for successful climate action: robust policy frameworks, improved access to financial resources, and the operational capacity to execute projects effectively at the national level. As part of the Pakistani delegation, the minister detailed the country's ongoing initiatives to bolster its internal climate policies. He further noted that Pakistan is actively working to secure funding through a combination of domestic resource mobilization and support from international financial institutions to address its environmental challenges.
