He suggested that the administration failed to coordinate with political parties or seek international assistance effectively. The party leadership emphasized that climate change remains a critical factor in these disasters, urging the government to advocate for climate justice globally. In response to the crisis, the CPN approved a 24-point proposal focusing on reconstruction, rehabilitation, and infrastructure safety. Party members also expressed concerns regarding internal coordination and the prevalence of individualistic approaches during the emergency.
